What to expect from our house-call service
Our veterinarians visit your home so your pet can be examined, treated, and cared for in the environment where they feel safest. Whether it's a routine wellness check or a more sensitive conversation about senior care or end-of-life options, we bring the same standard of care you'd expect in clinic — without the added stress for your animal.
House calls are available Monday to Friday during regular hours.
How to Prepare for Your Vet's Visit
Thank you for choosing our house call veterinary service. To help your appointment run smoothly and make the visit as stress-free as possible for both you and your pet, please review the following guidelines before your scheduled appointment.

Before the Appointment
Confirm Your Appointment
Please confirm your appointment time when you receive your reminder message.
Notify us as soon as possible if you need to reschedule or cancel.
Preparing Your Home
Create a Calm Environment

Choose a quiet area with enough space for the examination.

Reduce loud noises and distractions when possible.

Keep other pets separated unless they are also being examined.
Cats
-
Keep cats indoors for at least 2–3 hours before the appointment.

Place carriers in an accessible location ahead of time.

A small bathroom or quiet bedroom often works best for exams.
Dogs

Please have dogs leashed before the veterinarian arrives.

If your dog is nervous or reactive, let us know in advance.

Avoid dog parks or strenuous exercise immediately before the visit

Diagnostics (bloodwork, urine, fecal testing, cytology)
Safety
For everyone’s safety:

Children should be supervised during the appointment.

Please inform us about any history of biting, fear, or aggression.

Some pets may require gentle restraint or calming medication prior to the visit.

Payment is due at the time of service.

Estimates can be provided before treatment whenever possible.

You may receive:

Prescriptions or medication recommendations

Lab results within several days, depending on testing

House call services are not a substitute for emergency veterinary care.
